Almere Haven, 16 February 2015, Victron Energy, a leading Dutch power solutions provider, announces double-digit growth in the field of power solutions for the marine, industrial, automotive, mobility, off-grid and solar markets. The company, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2015, realized an annual growth of 12 % in sales volume. The growth percentage is in line with the company’s long tradition of annual growth.
This strong rise in sales can be explained by a number of factors such as an increasing interest in sustainable energy, the wish to reduce grid dependency and goals to reduce carbon footprints.
In the marine market, an increase in the sales of luxury sailing and motor yachts has been noted. At the same time electric boating is gaining in popularity, stimulating the demand for state-of-the-art power solutions.
Also customer trends are feeding the demand for innovative power solutions. Camping at remote locations or taking e-bikes when going on holiday with a motorhome for example, requires smart power solutions and charging facilities.
To meet these customer requirements, Victron Energy introduced a wealth of new products in 2014. Here, to name but a few, are some examples: four new BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers, a battery balancer, a series of Blue Power chargers, a Lynx Ion with a 350 or 600A Shunt and EasySolar. Also new functionality has been added to the Color Control GX (CCGX) and the Victron Remote Management (VRM portal), granting customers real-time insights into the details of their power systems.
Looking forward to 2015, Victron Energy forecasts an even further increase in sales volume. To realize this, the company will not only introduce a broad range of new products in 2015 but will also simplify the sales process. This will make Victron Energy even easier to do business with, as has the recently launched new website. The redesign of the website has also improved user friendliness and features a more advanced dealer locator, plus improved search functions. Besides the new website, logistics processes are continually being improved, to enhance the speed and delivery of products to customers.
