Bangalore, India – October 8, 2013 – Vicor Corporation announced the next installments in its popular Power Advantage Educational Series, featuring expert design tips and techniques aimed at optimizing power solution design. Presented by Chris Swartz, Principal Application Engineer, Vicor, the live seminars in Bangalore on October 22 and Hyderabad on October 24 will educate attendees about the challenges associated with conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) and provide practical design recommendations for reducing EMI and filter size in modern power systems.
Attenuating conducted EMI and meeting EMI standards are major challenges for power system designers, and the ever increasing density of modern electronic systems is straining designers’ abilities to find available PCB space for power supplies and EMI filters without sacrificing efficiency. These seminars will provide participants with a greater understanding of the main causes of differential and common mode EMI, EMI measurement and troubleshooting techniques, the benefits of active filtering, and PCB layout and power density optimization strategies.
The first of these seminars is scheduled for October 22, 9:30AM to 12:30PM local time, in Bangalore at the Gateway Hotel, Residency Road. The second seminar is scheduled for October 24, 9:30AM to 12:30PM local time, in Hyderabad at the Taj Banjara. Visit Vicor’s website to register for the Bangalore or Hyderabad seminars.
There is no cost to attend these seminars. Seating is limited. To sign up to receive email alerts about Vicor seminars, visit the Vicor PowerBlog.
