New Hyde Park, NY… Keystone Electronics Corp. has introduced a new Vertical Mount, Coin Cell Holder that allows for top entry of the popular 2032, 2025 or 2x 2016 lithium batteries. This top-loading holder (Cat. #1074) joins Keystone’s full line of Vertical 20mm Coin Cell holders including Cat. #1065 and Cat. #1067.
Designed to retain cells securely under shock and vibration, this new, “Vibra-Fit” holder features a UL 94V-0 rated housing and tin plated brass contacts providing low contact resistant and simplified thru-hole mounting on PCBs. The narrow profile holder affords a minimal footprint for high-density PCB packages allowing users to stack two 2016 cells on top of each other to achieve 6 volts of power or for single cell 3-volt applications from the same board footprint. Ideal for circuit back-up power, it accepts all major manufacturers’ batteries.
