Acquisition expands TE’s temperature sensor portfolio;
Amplifies TE’s sensor technology leadership in the medical market.
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland – May 2, 2019 – TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL) (TE), a global industrial technology company with leading positions in connectivity and sensing solutions, announced today that it has acquired Alpha Technics.
Alpha Technicsis a leading designer and manufacturer of high precision, medical temperature measurement products and solutions. The company, headquartered in California, reported sales of approximately $20 million in 2018 and is a privately held company.
