Bangalore, Oct. 10, 2017 – Synopsys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNPS) today announced it will host the annual BSIMM Community Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona on October 9-11. The event will gather more than 200 representatives from firms engaged in the Building Security In Maturity Model (BSIMM) community for a private forum to discuss software security initiatives. During the conference, BSIMM community members will give presentations on a variety of topics related to software security, including risk management, DevOps, CI/CD, GDPR, threat modeling, penetration testing, and more.
The BSIMM Community Conference follows the release of the BSIMM8 study, a published analysis of software security data collected from 109 participating firms. The BSIMM, in its eighth iteration, along with the largest BSIMM conference to date, reflects a flourishing community of organizations and professionals dedicated to improving the state of software security. Synopsys also hosts an annual BSIMM Community Conference in Europe in the spring.
