For the first time Emil Otto GmbH took part in this year’s international productronica trade fair in Munich. In addition to its standard products, the company from the Rheingau presented to the specialist audience the product group of combi-soldering fluxes for wave and selective soldering as well as the SMD adhesives of its Belgian partner, Roartis for the first time.
“We can be extremely satisfied with our first exhibition participation in Munich”, confirmed Markus Geßner, authorized signatory of Emil Otto GmbH upon enquiry. True, the number of contacts collected in comparisonwith SMT, 2015 could not be improved upon, but the quality of the discussions was outstanding.
Geßner attributed this to the intensive marketing and sales work. “Many of our discussion partners visited our stand because in recent months they had read a lot about us. Thediscussion partnerswere curious as ostensibly a new supplier had appeared on the market. Many were then very surprized when they heard that Emil Otto GmbH had been in existence for more than 100 years”, said Geßner.
Apart from potential customers,further discussions with international sales partners could also take place. Particularly in view of the further internationalization of the business, these discussions were very important.
“I think we are on the right road. Our customers are entitled to expect a lot from us. We will continue working toward making a fully comprehensive service available to our customers which guarantees them the receipt of the highest quality from a single source”as Geßner confirmed the further commitment.
The participation in SMT 2016 is, therefore, firmly planned. “I think that we can also ensure new products at this exhibition”, said Geßner looking into the future.
