Stewart Connector offers two USB Type-C receptacles with different PCB thickness options. Both options include both SMT and through hole signal pins. Stewart USB Type-C connectors are designed to support data
speeds up to 10 Gbps for USB 3.1 Gen 2. The USB Type-C connector design has plug/play capabilities where hot insertion/ejection may occur without issue, under a load. USB Type-C connectors are rated to withstand a peak current of 1.5A per contact.
