Initially their presence was limited to Middle Eastern countries but over the years it has expanded into South East Asia, Australia and Africa, with its largest Export order till date of 29 RTU (Ready To Use) Sterling DG sets installed in Niger, Africa at a total order value of INR 30 Cr.

Over the last 6-7 years, Sterling Generators has experienced a significant growth in DG sets exports. Apart from firming their presence in Middle East, over the years, it has expanded into South East Asia, Australia and Africa. Living up to the MAKE IN INDIA concept, Sterling Generators is successfully expanding its export business of its complete range of DG sets starting from 10kva to 3300kva. Sterling Generators has installations of Sterling DG sets in more than 30 countries, with more than 150 successful installations currently operational in these markets. Some of the countries that Sterling Generators are currently exporting to are Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Burundi, Baharin, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, South Africa, Djibouti, Male, Niger, Nigeria, Srilanka, Tanzania, Kenya, Oman, Qatar, Gambia, Mali and many more. Sterling Generators Exports are exported in the form of RTU-Ready to use sets as well as complete SITC jobs as per customer requirements. Middle East, Africa and South East Africa are becoming the hot spots and acceptance of Sterling Generators is growing year on year.
Sterling Generators plans to export at least 25% of their current capacity and over the years aim to be a dominant player in Africa, Middle East, South East Asia and Australia. They will keep looking at opportunities beyond these markets as well.
Some Major Exports undertaken by Sterling Generators:
– 8 sets of 2.2MW were exported to Mali in Africa paralleled at 30kv into Western African Grid in 2007
– 8 sets of 1.6MW each were supplied on SITC to SIERRA LEONE
– 3 sets of 1.6MW / 6.6KV were supplied and installed in CHAD
– 400 sets in total have been supplied to BYRNE, DUBA
