X-LINUX-RT: Single Chip Solution with real time Linux
X-LINUX-RT is an STM32 MPU OpenSTLinux Expansion Package that targets the activation of Linux® Real Time for STM32MP1 series microprocessors. It enables the PREEMPT-RT patch set aiming at making preemptible all the code running in the kernel mode. This allows reaching the determinism level needed for factory automation in key components such as PLCs (programmable logic controller) for applications like industrial.
Secure IoT and POS applications on STM32MP135 MPU
Secure visitor counter application shows the enhanced security robustness on STM32MP13 MPU devices. This demo counts the number of visits of a people. The counter is processed in the secure world, in OP-TEE environment. The visitor is identified with the QR Code of his badge scanned with the camera. Personal data and counter encrypted are stored in secure RAM. The personal data and the counter of visit are displayed in clear in secure world via the secure layer of the LTDC display whereas Linux dump only shows the encrypted counter (and clear visitor ID).
