London, UK –26thSeptember 2014 — SMT HUB is a new European marketplace for either buying or selling used, refurbished or surplus SMT equipment machinery, and spare parts.
Many current Websites cater to Asia and North America in offering SMT equipment for sale. Although these sites successfully help sellers and buyers bridge the gap of equipment availability and demand, SMT Hub’s research has found that the cost of shipping equipment from Asia or the USA to Europe far outweighs the benefits of sourcing these “affordable” alternatives.
The full launch of the SMT Hub will happen next week with the goal of addressing this issue by providing an online facility thatprovides clients with the option to source or promote surplus equipment to a European marketplace via a familiar and easy-to-navigate user interface. Once on the Website, all that is needed is a description of the equipment for sale, a photograph and/or video that providespotential buyers with information to support the decision-making process. Additionally, there is a functionality thatenables users to send/receive email messages between the seller/buyer.
To support the launch of this new site, SMT Hubwill be involved in an extensive marketing campaign through the European electronics industry that will provideunique marketing opportunities to increase exposure and sales across Europe.
