Siemens’ Jeff Zobrist recognized as 2016 CRN Channel Chief
Siemens’ product lifecycle management (PLM) software business has been given a 5-Star rating from CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, in its 2016 Partner Program Guide. This is the 10th straight year that Siemens PLM Software has received this designation. In addition, CRN recognized Jeff Zobrist, Siemens PLM Software’s Vice President of Global Solution Partner Sales, as a 2016 CRN Channel Chief.
This annual guide is the definitive listing of technology vendors that service solution providers or provide products through the IT channel. The 5-Star Partner Program Guide rating recognizes an elite subset of companies that offer solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs.
To determine the 2016 5-Star ratings, The Channel Company’s research team assessed each vendor’s application based on investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs and resources, sales support and communication.
Supporting a community of more than 800 partners that employ 8,500 technology professionals globally, the Siemens PLM Software Channel Partner Program enables Siemens’ partners to deliver quality and business value to some of the world’s most innovative and respected manufacturers. Siemens PLM Software partners have helped tens of thousands of joint customers in diverse industries and geographies realize innovation through a fully optimized digital enterprise. Emphasizing specialization, technical competency and sales excellence, the program enables partners to differentiate and profit in today’s evolving PLM marketplace.
“Solution providers have more choices than ever before when it comes to selecting vendor partners. Identifying the right vendor with the right technologies and the right channel approach can mean the difference between successful adoption of a new technology or business model and an awkward, unnecessarily difficult integration,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “Our annual Partner Program Guide and 5-Star ratings recognize the best channel programs available in the market today and serve as a valuable resource for solution providers looking for the right fit.”
“With initiatives like Industry 4.0 changing the course of the manufacturing sector, commitment to customer value and deep industry expertise have become essential to successful partnering in the PLM market,” said Zobrist. “We mark this decade of CRN recognition by acknowledging the contributions of our loyal partner community and by delivering program innovations for partner specialization and evolution. Our focus is to leverage new products, services and delivery offerings to enable existing partners to uncover fresh opportunities and to attract key forward-thinking solution providers.”
The 2016 Partner Program Guide will be featured in the April 11 issue of CRN and online at www.CRN.com/ppg2016.
