Zestron Corporation, Germany have a medium for cleaning all types of flux residues from reflow ovens and waves solder machines, Vigon RC 101 (RC stands for reflow cleaners). This Safe, effective and easy to use product is ideal for use during regular oven maintenance. Vigon RC 101 is water based and non-flammable. It has an HMIS rating of 0-0-0 and can even be used undiluted on hot surfaces. Applying Vigon RC 101 onto hot surfaces is not dangerous and will decrease cleaning times. Not only will cleaning times decrease, but machine downtimes will also decrease. Because VIGON RC 101 effectively cleans on hot surfaces, the operator of the reflow oven or wave solder machine will not have to wait for his equipment to cool down completely before cleaning. This savings in down-time results in a cost savings. VIGON RC 101 was specially formulated with this in mind. VIGON RC 101 can clean the dirtiest equipment parts without damaging oven (it has excellent material compatibility). Since the cleaner is applied using a hand spray bottle (See Picture), individual machine parts do not have to be removed. Once VIGON RC 101 is applied onto the surface to be cleaned, it loosens the dirt which is then easily wiped away using a cloth. In addition, the cleaner does not contain any halogenated compounds, and is biodegradable.
