Tinsley, established in 1904 in UK, (an ISO 9001 Company ) are pleased to announce the range of Wireless Process Signal communications which is the latest innovation in field of process signal transmission.
Process monitoring ( temperature, process, RH etc. ) is a critical and an important application for any industry or a plant. However, transmitting these signals inside the manufacturing facility or a plant, involves laying of cables and terminating them ultimately in the control room which is a costly affair and also the termination becomes huge if number of such process signals are there. Moreover, any fault in the cabling at any time, becomes difficult to be precisely identified or located and the downtime for rectification is relatively more and costlier.

Thanks to the state-of-art technology wireless technology which nullifies these problems and provides relatively better, safer, economical and accurate transmission of process signals through wireless technology.

Few important features of wireless / radio frequency process signal transmission :-

  • Safe and economical solution
  • Easy installation, requires no cabling
  • User friendly
  • Operates on wireless (radio frequency) technology for transmission of process signals ( 868MHz a permissible bandwidth )
  • Suitable for transmission of temperature, RH, and other process signals like 4-20mA from pressure sensors etc.
  • Consists of the wireless transmitter and receiver ( modem )
  • Global system : One modem ( receiver ) is only required in the control room which supports upto 255 transmitters Modem connects to PC directly through the USB port
  • A single modem can support a distance of 300 mts. which can be further extended to 2700 mts. using repeaters
  • Repeaters also allow transmission of data to longer distances and even if some obstacles are there
  • 2 relays addressable on alarm thresholds to activate alarms, horns
  • Powerful software enables the user to display, trace and process all the data in real time, display of average, maximum, minimum and standard deviation of each sensor, outputs in form of graphs, mimic diagram, curves, numerical format, spreadsheet, etc.
  • EMC compliant
