Clacton-on-Sea, UK, March 2015 — Pickering Interfaces, a leading provider of signal switching and instrumentation used in automotive test and simulation, will be showcasing their broad catalog of PXI, PCI and Ethernet LXI switching solutions at Automotive Testing Expo in Seoul, South Korea, booth 2033 on March 17-19. These products include Pickering’s PXI Fault Insertion, Power Switching, Programmable Resistors, RF and Microwave Switching, as well as their LXI ranges. Below are some of the products that will be showcased:
Pickering Latest Switching ModulesNew Fault Insertion Switch Module – The PCI model 50-190 switches are available with 75, 64 or 36 channels at 2 A and are primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive and avionics applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers. In addition, the PXI model 40-199 fault insertion switch is available with 10 channels of 10 Amp switching and either single or dual fault insertion busses.
PXI Power Switching Solutions – Used for automotive test applications including their model 40-553 matrix capable of switching 10 Amp at 200V and their model 40-651 high-density 5 Amp multiplexer with 12 configuration options.
PXI and PCI Programmable Resistor Solutions – these include models 40-295/50-295 high-density resistor solutions with up to 18-channels of 8-bit resolution resistor chains in a single PXI/PCI slot. These are ideal for simulating the sensors for control and management systems under test, allowing the user to verify system response in design verification or manufacturing test applications.
PXI Strain Gauge Simulator Module – The model 40-265 module simulates the operation of a range of strain gauges making it ideal for testing strain gauge meters and a wide variety of industrial control systems.
All the PXI modules can be used in any PXI chassis, can be fitted to PXI hybrid slots in a PXIe chassis and can also be used in Pickering’s LXI Modular chassis for users preferring control via an Ethernet port.
Also in the booth, as part of Pickering’s efforts in partnering with Virginia Panel Corp. (VPC), a premier company in the design of Interface Test Adapters (ITA), a Pickering chassis and switch modules interfaced to a VPC ITA will be on display.
Pickering Interfaces stands behind all of their manufactured products with a standard three-year warranty and guaranteed long-term product support. Pricing and availability information is supplied on their web site at www.pickeringtest.com.
