Ozone to Help Drive Development of Next Generation Wi-Fi
New Delhi, July 01, 2015: O-Zone Networks Private Ltd., India’s largest public Wi-Fi company announced its membership to Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA). O-Zone is a part of the team of 22 new members at WBA who will spearhead the growth of the next generation Wi-Fi networks and services, such as the WBA’s Next Generation Hotspot (NGH) initiative. The Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), the industry association is focused on driving the next generation Wi-Fi experience. The recent member expansion reiterates the increased focus on Wi-Fi as a next generation technology for mobility services.

The new members that join existing members which include leading technology companies such as AT&T, Boingo Wireless, BT, Cisco Systems, Comcast, Intel Corporation, iPass, KT Corporation, NTT DOCOMO, Orange and Time Warner Cable were AT4 wireless, Benu Networks, Birdstep, Cloud4Wi, Euclid, Google, iBwave, InterDigital, Liquid Telecom, Mimosa, O-Zone Networks, Private Wi-Fi, Progresif, Purple Wi-Fi, Reliance Jio Infocomm, Space Wireless, Spirent, Sprint, Swisscom, ViaSat, Wyless and yoctoComm bringing the total WBA membership to 108. WBA operator members collectively serve more than 1 billion subscribes and operate more than 10 million hotspots globally.
