Mouser Electronics Announces Distribution Deal with Surge Protection Manufacturer CITEL

June 14, 2021– Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is pleased to announce a global distribution agreement with CITEL. Through the agreement, Mouser now offers customers a wide array of CITEL RF, AC, DC, and Data Line surge protectors, which keep sensitive electronics safe from damaging lighting and switching transients.

CITEL P8AX-6G devices are outdoor RF coaxial surge protectors designed for very harsh environmental conditions. The P8AX-6G components are available for all frequencies from DC to 7 GHZ, with DC Pass configurations and a 20 kA surge rating. The bi-directional devices feature common-mode protection in an IP67 outdoor rated design with a replaceable gas tube.

DS40S devices are UL1449 Type 1 and Type 4CA AC surge protectors with a 40 kA surge rating per module. The devices feature a DIN rail-mountable, modular construction with remote signaling, remote contacts, and a visual fault indicator and are ideal for direct installation into critical equipment or within a nearby power panel.

DS230S DIN rail DC surge protectors are designed to be installed inside of an enclosure and in very close proximity to the sensitive equipment that is being protected. The UL1449 Type 4CA DC surge protectors are available in 48 VDC or 75 VDC versions and are wired in series or parallel with the load.

DLA Data Line DIN rail surge protection devices offer a 12 VDC to 170 VDC voltage range and are wired in series or parallel with the load. The UL497B-listed devices are designed to be installed inside of an enclosure and in very close proximity to the sensitive equipment that is being protected.
