Celebrity Engineer to Speak, Interact with Fans
May16, 2017–Global distributor Mouser Electronics Inc. will participate in this weekend’s Maker Faire Bay Area at the San Mateo (Calif.) Event Center as a Copper smith Sponsor. Joining Mouser will belong time customer and celebrity engineer Grant Imahara, who will discuss innovation in the maker movement, including Mouser’s exciting Empowering Innovation Together™ program.
Imahara will be a featured speaker on Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m.on the Center Stage, after which fans can watch through Mouser’s Twitter feed (@MouserElec) as Grant tours the Faire. Imahara will then appear at the Mouser booth, located across from the Make: Electronics Stage in the Electronics building in Zone 2.Mouser representatives will be in the booth to discuss how Mouser empowers makers with the newest technologies from its 600-plus manufacturer partners. Visitors to the Mouser booth can also sign up for a chance to win an Intel® Compute Stick.

In addition to acreative, interactive LED puzzle game — a favorite from Mouser’s appearance at World Maker Faire New York —Mouser will showcase a variety of development boards from leading manufacturers, including a live demo of the Intel Edison Development Platform.
