New Delhi: The 2nd Annual India International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo 2019 opened gates to tech savvy buyers and international exhibitors on 12th December 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi co-organized by Ikonic Exhibition & Conferences Pvt. Ltd. alongside Chaoyu Exposition from China. The exhibition had over 200 Indian and International exhibitors presenting a varied range of 23000+ products specialized in consumer electronics and smart appliances. Dignitaries from China were welcomed and felicitated by Prof. NK Goyal, President CMAI. Mr. Li Baijun, Economic and Commercial Minister of the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China in India, Mr. Miao Huawei, Ministry of Commerce of the Peoples’ Republic of China, Mr. Chen Cantao, General Manager, Chaoyu Expo, Shri S.K. Marwaha, Senior Director, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Govt. of India along with other dignitaries.
“I am very glad to be participating in this exhibition, I have visited many exhibitions before however this is supposed to be the largest exhibition hosted by the China’s ministry of commerce as many Chinese companies attending. I would like to express our warm congratulations to the holding of this event and also, I would like to thank the Indian organizers for support and help. Under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Modi, China-Indian economic and trade relations have yielded fruitful results in the year 2018. China’s cumulative Investment in India is 8.23 billion us dollars the two parties have focused on industrial corporation and there is positive progress in mobile phones home appliances etc. I hope that the exhibition could be a breach of communication between India and China more Indian companies know about Chinese companies and Chinese products Chinese companies can also take this opportunity to find more opportunities in India” said Mr. Li Baijun, Economic and Commercial Minister of Embassy of the Peoples’ Republic of China in India.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by a number of sessions by leading professionals in their respective fields on subjects like Make in India Vision 2025, Changing Trends of Consumer Electronics – 5G, Smart Homes & Appliances, Smart Appliances & Gadgets – Usage in Modern Homes, Offices & Kitchens. Conference on Make in India – Vision 2025 and National Electronics Summit & Awards were also conducted to acknowledge achievers and innovators in their respective fields.
Addressing the motive of the exhibition Mr. Chen Cantao, General Manager, Chaoyu Expo said “ The pavilions have become more professional in comparison to last year including consumer electronics mobile phones and accessories computer networks computer networks and accessories, electronic components, security products and smart home products, energy saving products, home appliances, electronic equipment and components. AI and robots are all showcased at the expo. Pre-registered buyer has already touched 8217 and we expect to expand to 20700 visitors this year. Many big brands of China will attend the show.”
The event has several product categories such as Consumer Electronics and Audio (Mobile phone and Accessories, Computer Accessories, Digital Devices, Speaker & Sound Box, Professional Audio, Home Theatre System, karaoke player and microphone, Home Appliance and Lighting (Rice Cooker, Electric Kettles, Coffee maker, Micro – Are, juice Blend, Fan, IED indoor lighting, Construction Lighting) and Home System (Lighting control system, Home Appliances Control System and Home Cabling).
