Mistral’s AM437x PoM now enabled by Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT for easy IoT application deployment
Bangalore, Tuesday, October 13, 2015: Mistral Solutions, today, announced that Mistral’s AM437x Product on Module (AM437x PoM) is now enabled by Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT, a new platform that makes it easy for devices to connect to AWS services so that companies can store, process, analyze, and act on the volumes of data generated by connected devices on a global scale. The AM437x PoM along with the application board released earlier this year by Mistral is an ideal platform for developing industrial automation solutions. With the integration of with AWS IoT, It will now be possible for customers to easily connect their industrial solution; based on the AM437x PoM; to AWS IoT making it easy for developers to use the AWS IoT functionality from connected devices, and from mobile and web applications.
The Cloud ready platform will ensure convenience for developers as it can connect to AWS through an easy and efficient set-up and integration process. The AM437x PoM will boot with the AWS IoT, which will offer libraries, code samples, and documentation to help developers build connected cloud applications using AWS. Mistral’s AM437x PoM, powered by AWS IoT will provide a complete cloud services portfolio that will give customers fast, secure and scalable access to the cloud for performing analytics, control and configure sensors, generating reports and acting on the data made available.

The AM437x PoM is built around the powerful 1GHz Sitara™ AM437x SoC from Texas Instruments and is available with extensive integration like quad core PRU-ICSS, PowerVR SGX 3D acceleration core, dual camera, QSPI-NOR, up to 512KB on-chip memory, Dual ADC and an easily extendable architecture. The PoM comes enabled with AWS IoT and demo applications. The AM437x PoM is a quick deployable solution for developers aiming to build devices for industrial applications including Gateways, HMI and PLC. The AM437x PoM can be also customized and optimized for customers intending to take it to volume production.
