Company Named “Best Electronic System Design Company” in SiliconIndia Leadership Awards
December 2013, Bangalore, India – Microchip Technology Inc., a leading provider of microcontroller, mixed-signal, analog and Flash-IP solutions, has been named ‘Best Electronic System Design Company’ in the multinational company category of the joint Mentor Graphics and SiliconIndia Leadership Awards for the Embedded / VLSI industry. The Awards aim to recognise companies and individuals that have made major contributions to driving the progress of the industry.
Held annually, the award recipients are chosen by a distinguished judging panel of industry insiders. The awards are divided into 11 categories in different application areas and are designed to give recognition to companies of a range of sizes, from local start-ups to multinational companies. The winners were announced at a gala dinner Friday, December 6, attended by over 150 delegates from every segment of the semiconductor industry. The event was rounded off by a panel discussion that took as its theme, ‘Re-engineered and Re-modeled: Increased Semiconductor Content in the Connected World.’
