At the CEO Roundtable meeting presided by Prime Minister Modi, Arunjai Mittal highlighted the opportunities for Indo-German collaboration in the field of semiconductor technology. He described how Infineon’s semiconductors solutions for energy efficiency, mobility and security help to make life greener, smarter and more convenient and secure. Power semiconductor solutions from Infineon help convert and transmit electrical energy in the most efficient manner, be it at source of renewable energy generation, transmission or consumption. Technologies like Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) based components help further increase energy efficiency. Infineon’s security chips, with their world class encryption technology, protect both individual users and manufacturers from unauthorized access to sensitive information. The chips were developed for use in security related applications like payment, national ID, health services and authentication.

“We look forward to continuing our engagement in India and working together with the Indian government to lay the foundation for India’s sustainable growth over the next decade and beyond,” said Arunjai Mittal, Member of the Management Board, Regions, Sales, Marketing, Strategy Development and M&A at Infineon Technologies AG.
