HUBER+SUHNER showcases FTTH/access networks, small cells and in-building coverage solutions
HUBER+SUHNER will be demonstrating its all-round capability in connectivity across fiber, RF and wireless-based solutions at Total Telecom’s Connected Britain conference and exhibition this week (16-17 June, London). The company is unveiling for the first time in the UK its highly innovative range of small cells products designed to revolutionize the mobile environment.
Highlights of the HUBER+SUHNER exhibit are its fiber management systems, Masterline Ultimate Small Cell family, antennas and jumper cables and Fiber in the Home Solutions.
Launched earlier this month in Europe, the Small Cells range includes HUBER+SUHNER’s new MASTERLINE Ultimate SC series which is the most innovative cabling system developed. The pre-connectorised factory-sealed, plug and play fiber optic system supports up to three remote radio heads (RRH) and connects them with easy-to-install Q-ODC fiber optic jumpers. The portfolio contains a hard wired single connector head for two RRHs and for scalable daisy chain applications. It is comprised of a starter, an extender and a termination module to support up to 9 RRH. Additionally HUBER+SUHNER will also present its portfolio of antennas that fit the requirements of small cells.
HUBER+SUHNER is the market leader for Fiber to the Antenna (FTTA), Power to the Antenna (PTTA) and Hybrid to the Antenna (HTTA) infrastructure for installing Remote Radio Heads (RRH).
With an extensive RF and fiber optics portfolio that has already made significant contributions across a range of industries, HUBER+SUHNER is well placed to demonstrate its extensive expertise at this week’s Connected Britain event.
“Our comprehensive range of high-quality radio frequency components is based around the varying needs of in-building or distributed antenna networks and railway, test and measurement applications, all designed to keep Britain connected!” said Steve Eccles, UK sales manager at HUBER+SUHNER.
“Our innovative, future-proofed, multi-vendor installation solutions, whether for small cells, in-building coverage or for the FTTH/FITH access network, are globally accepted by system vendors and mobile operators alike, as the simplest and quickest to install, whilst at the same time offering significant total cost of ownership savings over competitive solutions. In addition we have a complete range of standard fiber optic connectors, cables and assemblies (patch cables) for private and public networks as well as industrial applications. This includes customer-specific systems for in-house, fiber optic and hybrid cabling as well as comprehensive fiber management systems.”
HUBER+SUHNER’s UK operations are located in Bicester in Oxfordshire. The company has a wealth of experience in the development and production of first-class RF and fiber optic products for the global market, with an extremely comprehensive product portfolio that meets the different requirements of data transmission in the communication, industrial and transport sectors.
