“The year 2015 continues to be the year of change for India. The unremitting push by the government to digitally empower Indians, concurrently viewing and plugging every gap of the ‘Digital India’ initiative is noteworthy.
The launch of the National Skill Development Mission is the need of the hour for the IT industry as a whole. The push from the center to bridge the gap between the engineering talent and their employability, will provide the impetus required for the IT, ITeS, hardware, electronics and semiconductor industries to quickly rise up to address the opportunities that will come up as part of this digital revolution.
The ground realities are always cumbersome to address. However, through Public-Private-Partnerships and working through industry associations, we as an industry look forward to aiding the government in identifying and addressing these challenges.”
