1. Please help our readers by introducing Foxconn profile, your presence and business worldwide?
Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the manufacture, research, development and distribution of computer, communication and consumer electronic (3C) products. The Company provides magnesium and aluminum alloy casings and structures, heat sink of desktops, servers, notebook computers and other 3C products, as well as consumer electronics. Its products are applied in the manufacture of notebook computers, mobile phones, projectors, electronic books, digital cameras, servers, workstation heat sinks and household game consoles, among others. It distributes its products primarily in the Americas, Europe and Asia. We are ranked the largest OEM manufacturer in the world with a customer base that includes Apple, Sony, Intel, Nokia, HP, Acer and Dell. Apple iphone, iPad, Sony VAIO systems, HP, Acer and Dell machines are OEM manufactured by us. 2. What are the key products and targeted market sectors in your portfolio?
The key products targeted by Foxconn are—
In addition to over 100 existing models of Motherboards for Intel and AMD platforms, Foxconn also offers product portfolio such as Silent, Powerful and super compact Nano PC and Desktop bare bone solution.
3. Can you focus on latest trends and technologies in electronics manufacturing?
Foxconn will invest US$30 million in Foxconn East America, a subsidiary based in Harrisburg, to expand an existing R&D team to set up an advanced manufacturing facility for high value-added products for applications including automobiles, medical care and environmental production, the expansion will recruit about 500 employees.

5. Which are the products you introduced recently?
In October 2013 7-Eleven Launched 7-inch Tablet, 50-inch Connected LCD TV through Cooperation with Foxconn.
6. What are your approaches to make your customers satisfied? What are the flexible offerings for your customers?
Our business philosophy is Time to Market, Time to Volume and Time to Money. “Our strategy in India includes more focus on after-sales service, more new products, channel schemes through which we focus on jointly developing the channel business prospects and opening up a direct vendor interaction.”
7. What are the opportunities you are looking in India? Are there any challenges?
Foxconn’s strategy is not just to have a blind bunch of products, but to provide right and total solutions to help our regional partners to enjoy total benefits. We believe in maintaining our leadership and not just following.
8. What is your outlook on 2014 key trends and market growth?

9. Tell us about your manufacturing facilities and product design center?
By continuously improving our R&D and engineering technology service abilities Foxconn has been expanding our footprint from Mainland China to all over the world. We have 40 production facilities and 35 R&D centers throughout Asia, Europe and the United States.
10. Can we know about your competency and technology advantages to perform world’s best product in the market?
By continuously strengthening and developing the advanced technologies in precision plastic injection molding, key parts & components and mechanical-electronic integration modules Foxconn has aggressively driven the integration of cross-field technologies such as nanotechnology, precision optics, green lighting, flat panel displays, automation, thermal-acoustic- magnetic, industrial measuring, semiconductor equipment technologies and cloud computing service and has great achievements. The “FOXBOT” an in-house developed and made industrial robot has gained the competitive advantages in technologies and manufacturing and from a successful follower to become a leader. The Foxconn R&D Lab, Product Testing Lab, Mechanical Simulation Lab, and Material Lab are on the top level around the world. Foxconn enthusiastically establishes a green corporation by exercising the following four objectives: energy saving, emission reduction, greening and recycling.
