Arfan Sabir joins element14 with a proven track record of digital innovation and leadership spanning 20+ years at international organisations including LEGO, Epson and Mothercare
Bangalore, India – 20 July, 2022: element14, an Avnet company and global distributor of electronic components, products and solutions, has appointed a new Vice President of eCommerce to drive growth through digital transformation and innovation across the business.
Arfan Sabir brings a wealth of experience after delivering digital leadership roles at Mothercare, Dreams, Currys/PC World, Epson and Kokoba Ltd, in addition to serving as Global Director of eCommerce for LEGO Group, where he spearheaded the digital transformation and increased on-line revenue by 275 per cent in a two year period.
Most recently, Arfan was personally appointed by Touker Suleyman of Dragons Den fame to grow his portfolio of businesses and investments online with a key focus and bias on leading the turnaround of Hawes & Curtis, the largest business within the portfolio.
