“Pyrotech ‘s ” Electronic Ear (Sound Transmitter)system, is a sound system used for measuringsound generated in a Grinding/Cement/Ball mill.
This is an import substitute and is developed by ourR&D department. It is used in Raw mill, Cementmill, Coal mill, etc to give a current outputcorresponding to the fill level of the mill. We havealready installed 100 such systems in the countryand are working satisfactorily.
The system consists of three items, namely soundsensor, transmitter and mounting stand. Soundsensor uses the mill shell as membrane and detects the mill shellv i b r a t i o n scaused by thegrinding balls,hitting the milllining and thematerial in themill. The systeis insensitive to foreign acousticnoise from othersurroundings.
