Safewash Total has recently been launched as an additional product to its well-established cleaning range. It is part of the most effective gr oup of waterbased cleaners available on the market and is currently in use by many major manufacturers worldwide. It is a specially formulated blend of nonflammable solvents, which form a micro-emulsion when mixed with water.
The product offers superior cleaning with the advantage of non-flammable properties, low odour and non-VOC and very low toxicity. The Safewash range is designed for the removal of a wide range of residues and contaminants from printed circuit boards, with all types of application methods , including dishwasher, in-line pressure systems, ultrasonic and spray under immer s ion. Heat generated within components is conventionally removed by the use of metals, either formed to give high surface areas (heatsinks) or to form part of the assembly ‘s outer body. The hot component is mechanically attached to the metal but invariably there is always an air gap between the surfaces. As air is a poor conductor of heat, this air gap greatly reduces the rate of heat dissipation. By applying HTCX or HTCPX the gap is completely filled, excluding all air, ensuring complete contact between the two surfaces, therefore increasing efficiency in heat conductance.
The new products also offer outstanding performance due to the specially formulated proprietary additive, which provides a significant increase in thermal conductivity without sacrificing the viscosity/consistency or film thicknesses.
Finally the introduction of the EuroChemi LocoWash range at the exhibition. Specially designed for the rail industry, these products offer enhanced cleaning performance as well as being environmentally friendly.
