Electrolube has further strengthened its technical expertise credentials with the establishment of a new Technical Support Team based at its International Headquarters in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. The move sets the tone for 2016, as Electrolube prepares for the exciting market opportunities that lie ahead.
With effect from January 2016, Electrolube’s new Global Technical Support Team will be put into effect under the leadership of Jade Bridges, Electrolube’s European Technical Support Specialist. Jade has accumulated extensive knowledge of the company’s vast product range since joining the company in 2003 and, as the former R&D Manager for 8 years, Jade possesses a wealth of experience regarding new product development and customer support, making her the perfect candidate to take on the day-to-day running of the newly assigned team.
The new team will bring a wealth of industry-specific and circuit protection chemistry knowledge to the company and will provide primary technical support to all of Electrolube’s divisional account managers. Importantly, the team will provide an effective, streamlined approach to customer enquiries. Following the evaluation of an enquiry and its commercial implications for the company, the team will use its expertise to work more closely with customers to help select the most pertinent product for customer requirements, or decide if the enquiry needs to be referred to the R&D department for further action, including the formulation of bespoke products.
As well as formally managing all incoming enquiries through the technical mailboxes, the new Global Technical Support Team will also have overall responsibility for all Material Safety Data Sheets, as required under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.
Electrolube Managing Director, Ron Jakeman comments, “These are exciting times for Electrolube as we develop our product offerings and consolidate our all-important approach to customer enquiries. In effect, the moves we are announcing today are a formalisation of a procedure that Electrolube’s European team has been trialling and testing for some time now. It will give our account managers direct access to a technical team that not only understands the commercial importance of an enquiry, but which can also assess whether an enquiry is easily satisfied through the existing product ranges or, indeed, merit a completely bespoke product development by our specialist teams.”
