Dr. Ambar Sarkar to discuss Custom Verification IPs, Turnkey SoC Design and 16nm Silicon Tape-outs with top semiconductor executives

Ahmedabad, 07June 2015: eInfochips, a leader in global product engineering services, has announced that semiconductor industry veteran Dr. Ambar Sarkar – now Chief Technologist at eInfochips – will be at eInfochips booth at DAC 2015. Semiconductor and EDA companies can draw from his experience to approach technical challenges that arise from complex designs, modular verification environments and multi-faceted timing and layout issues. He will be available at DAC 2015, eInfochips booth (#1210) to discuss real-world challenges with design and verification teams.

Discussing this development, Dr. Sarkar said, “Doing three 16nm tape-outs in a year is a major achievement by any measure. eInfochips has a mature VLSI practice, and is one of the few global companies to offer turnkey semiconductor design. I am delighted to play a role in taking the good work forward.”

Dr. Sarkar, has actively contributed to improvements in semiconductor technology through associations with various organizations over two decades, including being the Technical Program Chair at DVC on for the past six years. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, USA.
