Following on from the success of past events, Hitex (UK) Ltd are delighted to be holding another of its ARM User Conferences titled “Bank on the next generation of ARM microcontrollers and applications” on 18th-20th November 2014.
The main focus of the day will feature the newly-released Cortex-M7, with both ARM and their silicon vendors presenting on Cortex-M7.
The first two days are extra dates of both our most popular training courses plus a brand new Yocto course with the event culminating in the main conference and exhibition on the final day.
The conference will give you an overview of the latest and greatest innovations currently available with ARM-based microcontrollers and development tools with a heavy emphasis on the newly-announced Cortex-M7.
The ARM Cortex-M7 is targeted at high-end embedded applications used in next generation vehicles, connected devices, and smart homes and factories. Early licensees of the Cortex-M7 processor include Atmel, Freescale and ST Microelectronics.
The Cortex-M7 achieves an impressive 5 CoreMark/MHz . This performance allows the Cortex-M7 to deliver a combination of high performance and digital signal control functionality that will enable MCU silicon manufacturers to target highly demanding embedded applications while keeping development costs low. Expected uses of Cortex-M7 include smart control systems employed in a range of applications such as motor control, industrial automation, advanced audio, image processing, a variety of connected vehicle applications and other Internet of Things (IoT) uses.
The presentations will be a mix of the latest innovative developments from key Silicon vendors and leading software providers. Through the day the presentations will cover the latest hardware developments and practical software techniques. The presentations will be technology-based as opposed to road maps or sales pitches. This is to ensure that every delegate will leave having gained real knowledge and value from the day.
