Theme: New Horizons & Expanding Dimensions
17th October 2014: 0930 Hrs: Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, India
As you are aware, Information & Communication Technology (ICT) contributes to significantly large number of innovations in the way a modern vehicle is designed and manufactured today. With greater computing power getting embedded in modern vehicles, ICT innovations are at the forefront of enriching consumer experience, vehicle performance and safety. This grand convergence of traditional automotive engineering along with modern ICT tools and seemingly disparate technologies such as telematics is set to change the design and manufacturing of automotive, consumer experience and consumer expectations of a modern automotive experience. In this context, I take pleasure in informing that the Tamil Nadu Technology Development & Promotion Center of CII is organizing the Conference onInnovation for Automotive Electronics with the theme of New Horizons & Expanding Dimensions on17thOctober 2014 at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai.
The conference attempts to support this growth and understand the trends in this area. The conference aims to focus on key growth parameters like technology innovation, new products, new markets, next-generation technology, & implications for adjacent industries.
The objectives of this conference are to: serve as an interaction platform for key stake holders from automotive, electronics, industrial & information technology etc to discuss and understand the trends in ICT area for auto-electronics; discuss and identify the key growth levers that support the trends in the auto-electronics industry; to project the challenges, opportunities & expectations to the relevant stakeholders; facilitate the technology brainstorming and other related needs of the members through cross-continent networking; evaluate potential partnerships for collaborative research and product development with Indian industries; facilitate knowledge sharing between industry & international organizations through bilateral / multilateral cooperation mechanism etc.
