January 14, 2015
Colorjet, a leading manufacturer of wide format Digital Inkjet print technology, has launched its latest printer models, ‘Softjet Grand,’ and ‘Vastrajet’ during their participation at the 18th edition of Sign & Graphic Imaging (SGI) Dubai, the most anticipated event of the year in the MEASA region for exhibitors and visitors in the Signage, Digital Signage, Retail Signage Solutions, Outdoor media, Screen and Digital printing industries, which also opened today and will run until January 13, 2015 at the Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2, 3 & Arena of the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE. The launch of ‘Softjet Grand’ and ‘Vastrajet’ printers signals the start of the company’s move to distribute its products across the GCC and Eastern Europe region with the strategic aim of consolidating its customer base and strengthening its partner networks to promote its diverse product portfolio. Colorjet stand is located at Sheikh Saeed Hall 1, stand no D-06.
According to Colorjet senior executive, the company currently operates across three key regions, which are composed of India, China and Dubai. Looking to improve its market presence in the region, the company has expressed confidence in achieving 20 per cent growth in the coming year. Colorjet products are aligned towards two key segments—signage products and textile products. With this in mind, the company is releasing the ‘Softjet Grand” model to a target audience in the Soft signage segment, particularly to producers of Soft signage’s like flags and banners which are directly printed on polyester based recyclable fabrics. The new unit uses environmentally friendly ink that is aqueous based.
Meanwhile, the ‘Vastrajet’ is being promoted across the digital textile printing segment as the new unit can be used both for sampling and mass production of digital printed textile orders. Looking to play a key role in the country’s water conservation efforts, the ‘Vastrajet’ printer has been designed in such a way that it doesn’t use water like traditional machines
“Consumers have now become more aware of the effects that everyday chemicals have on the environment and their own health. This new found consumer wisdom has led to the demand of more sustainable and eco-friendly solutions,” said Pavan Gupta, Director, Colorjet. “Advertising and promotions are required for the growth of any business but the constant use of such hazardous material can lead to an unhealthy environment and therefore internationally soft signage is now becoming widely popular.”
Colorjet is the only manufacturer that offers and sells machines as a solution, along with RIP color management, ink usage, ICC profile and training for application development or various applications that a machine can be used for across different markets. True to its vision towards continued growth and development, the company constantly updates its product roadmap in an effort to directly connect with its end users while also valuing feedback given by its service engineers and sales team. Colorjet also has a highly trained technical team for after sales requirements.
“We are looking forward to a very positive response to our participation at SGI Dubai, we believe the event will offer us a strategic platform to promote our printers, especially newer units like ‘Softjet Grand’ and ‘Vastrajet’. Our presence at this event will also allow us the advantage of developing new contacts, meeting potential partners and finding out key feedback from our end users,” concluded Gupta.
