As per the report released, Susten (By Mahindra) and Sterling & Wilson (Shapoorji and Pallonji) were given the first and second positions respectively and L&T as fourth.

The company’s progress has been impressive, having risen from rank 10 the previous year ending 2014, to its current position for 2015 (last 12-month duration). Thus far, Rays Power Infra has successfully completed Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of more than 275 (need updated figure) MW in India.

Commenting on the recognition, Ketan Mehta, Director, Rays Power Infra said, “We are proud to be acknowledged as the third largest EPC player in the Indian market. This recognition is a testimony of our commitment to deliver quality and timely execution of projects. This is indeed a very exciting time for the renewable energy sector in India.”

Commenting on the report, Mr. Vinay Rustagi, Managing Director, BRIDGE TO INDIA, said, “The 2015 edition of India Solar Map shows that the Indian solar market is poised to take off with capacity addition doubling every year for the next 3 years.  Our total project pipeline stands at nearly 15 GW. The Indian Government’s new ambitious solar programme has seen many leading international and Indian developers coming in the sector.  Competition has increased tremendously as a result, leading to falls in bid prices and developers are looking aggressively to bring project costs down.”
