Hong Kong, one of the world’s major suppliers of electronic merchandise and components, is welcoming over 3,800 exhibitors from around the world to the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia this October.
The two great electronics trade events are timely scheduled on 13-16 October in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The electronics trade fair is organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), while electronicAsia is jointly organised by MMI Asia Pte Ltd (MMI) and HKTDC.
The two fairs will present an up-to-date marketplace to all electronics, electrical and component trade players who wish to tap into the global electronics arena in particular the burgeoning Asian markets. The i-World new zone will accommodate all robust demand on smartphones, tablets, mobile devices, accessories and related products. Also playing smart will be the digital household electronics to be shown at the new Smart Home zone.
Invention zone will present leading-edge electronic products in the market. A line-up of Exhibitors’ Showroom is expanding in the Autumn edition to exhibit all they have to offer including audio visual products, telecommunications products, electronic accessories, computer & peripherals and electronic gaming products.
The Hall of Fame will address calls for branded electronic products, showcasing hundreds of renowned electronic brand names which stand for innovation, quality, design and reliability. Some confirmed big brands include Alcatel, Binatone, Fujikon, Goodway, Malata, Motorola, Nextbase, Philips, Pierre Cardin, Princess, Skyworth, VTech and Westinghouse.
Big business opportunities are also available at the Small-order zone of the fair. Returning from its spring edition, the zone is expecting thousands of products available in small volume from hundreds of suppliers, with added on-the-spot order service.
The concurrent fair, electronicAsia 2013 will put focus on assemblies & production, components, parts and accessories. Following the sustaining trend for smartphones and tablets, Key Components for Smart Devices zone is introduced to give manufacturers the best choice and the latest technology in their vital components. Other highlights include World of Display Technology which will showcase LED, LCD and related technologies; Hong Kong Metal Parts & Components Pavilion which bring together Hong Kong’s manufacturers of connectors, metal cases and heat-dissipating devices; as well as World of Solar which will answer the needs for solar and photovoltaic technologies.
Informative seminars and cocktail receptions are among the many value-added events that will be offered at both fairs. They will help industry players to make new business contacts and stay abreast of the latest trends and technological developments.
The Hong Kong Electronics Industries Association (HKEIA) and HKTDC join hands again to organise the HKEIA Award for Outstanding Innovation and Technology Products. The competition is free and open for entry by the exhibitors of the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia 2013.
