Kit combining BeScope and BeMicro is available for $50 only through www.arrow.com/bescope for a limited time
Hong Kong – Arrow Electronics, Inc., in conjunction with Analog Devices, Inc. , and Altera, unveiled a high-precision evaluation board named the BeScope Daughter Card. This product, in conjunction with the BeMicro Cyclone® V field-programmable gate array development kit, enables real-time analog waveform analysis.
The BeScope Daughter Card exemplifies Arrow’s vision of smarter products that get to market faster – at the right price. In addition, the product showcases Arrow’s engineering capabilities and continuous push to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
“The BeScope Daughter Card and BeMicro CV dev kit highlight the value Arrow provides in showcasing the affordability and ease of use of Altera and Analog Devices products,” said Sabrina Raza Gomez senior product marketing manager, low-cost products, at Altera. “We are pleased to work with Arrow to demonstrate proven technology and optimal solutions that serve our customers’ growing needs.”
The BeScope Daughter Card with BeMicro CV functions as a complete two-channel analog oscilloscope system. It supports complex waveform analysis in real time, by using high-speed field-programmable gate array logic. The Windows graphical user interface displays waveforms in an intuitive and clear manner. In addition, Analog Devices’ interposer board allows connectivity to more than 60 evaluation platforms, supporting customer evaluations and rapid prototyping during software design.
The BeMicro CV dev kit features Altera’s low-cost 28-nanometer Cyclone V FPGA, while retaining all of the benefits of its predecessor, BeMicro SDK featuring Cyclone IV FPGAs – including the 80-pin edge connector interface. Designs can easily be transferred between BeMicro circuits. On the BeMicro CV dev kit, the hardened memory controller is connected to a single, 16-bit wide, 1 gigabyte double-data-rate type three synchronous dynamic random access (DDR3 SDRAM) memory device.
The BeScope Daughter Card and the BeMicro CV dev kit are bundled together for a limited time. The bundled kit is only available online and costs $50. The kit includes 50 megahertz of analog bandwidth, an oscilloscope probe and Analog Devices’ interposer board. One kit is available per customer while supplies last.
