In an effort to ensure the effective identification of various prohibited luggage items in the midst of growing threats, advanced X-ray scanners and under-vehicle scanning systems have been installed at the newly inaugurated Telangana Secretariat.
Beefing up security measures at the newly inaugurated Telangana State Secretariat, the Telangana Government, has installed X-ray Baggage Inspection Systems and Under Vehicle Scanning Systems that have been designed and developed solely in India. With this, screening of baggage and inspection of incoming vehicles will be more secure and thorough even as the checks are quicker.
Vehant Technologies, a pioneer in artificial intelligence and machine learning-based surveillance, has installed eight (8) Kritiscan 6040 scanners for scanning luggage. This Baggage Scanner is a highly competitive and technologically progressive product. It is based on highly accurate 3D technology for creating virtual 3D images, which provides the operator with an isometric view of the scanned baggage by generating three-dimensional images of the object. This scanner provides extremely detailed images for enhanced detection capabilities and enables the security and surveillance personnel to view and inspect minute details inside the baggage. With this product, there is a shift in technology wherein while the traditional scanners could only identify/display 2-dimensional images but with KritiScan® 6040R 3D X-ray Baggage Scanner, the operator will now be able to have an isometric view of the object thus increasing the accuracy of detection and identification of threats.
The company has also installed 4 Under Vehicle Scanning Systems (UVSS) at the secretariat. Through this system, all the vehicles arriving in the premise are checked thoroughly. Through this technology, when a vehicle passes over the UVSS, the system captures the chassis number of the vehicle, the number plate of the vehicle, and the face of the driver.
Commenting on the installations, Mr. Kapil Bardeja, CEO and Co-Founder of Vehant Technologies said “Vehant Technologies is working round the clock with the sole purpose of keeping people safe at any cost. UVSS requires physical devices to detect illegal items. With the help of this system, it is easy to inspect vehicles during both night and day and it is capable of working in any weather condition. This mechanized monitoring system will check trespassers and unwanted vehicles, ensuring the safety of people and premises.”
The indigenous manufacture of high-quality surveillance and security products has come as a blessing to customers as the earlier wait was too long, after placing the orders. The Indigenous manufacturers will help overcome delays in the import of these machines and do away with the issues concerning the maintenance of the equipment.
