India’s First DOCSIS 3.0 Deployment Meets Growing Consumer Demand for Streaming High Definition Content to Multiple Devices

Optimized to meet growing subscriber demand for high speed broadband and streaming of HD content to multiple devices, Hathway is the first multi-system operator to launch a DOCSIS 3.0 network in India capable of transmitting high speed data at speeds greater than 300 megabits per second (Mbps). Operators are currently upgrading to DOCSIS 3.0-based broadband gateways with 85 percent revenue growth in 2013 alone, according to industry analyst firm Infonetics.1
