Collaboration to drive AI-powered, adaptive networks for complex industrial environments like coal mines and port terminals

New Delhi, India – September 18, 2025 –

Tidal Wave, India’s leading private 5G network provider, today announced a strategic collaboration with RANsemi, a pioneer in Open RAN technology, to build its next-generation private 5G systems. Under this partnership, Tidal Wave has selected RANsemi’s integrated small cell platform as the foundation for its private network deployments, enabling advanced connectivity solutions that are resilient, scalable, and simple to deploy.

Tidal Wave’s private 5G networks are designed for mission-critical environments, delivering secure, cellular-grade wireless connectivity for industries such as mining, ports, and logistics hubs. These networks support real-time operations, automation, and worker safety, meeting the complex requirements of modern industrial facilities.

A showcase of this innovation is Tidal Wave’s deployment for Coal India, where private 5G technology enabled enhanced remote operations, real-time analytics, and improved safety across multiple mining sites. Building on this experience, Tidal Wave will integrate RANsemi’s platform into its upcoming solutions, with plans to explore AI-driven capabilities that bring intelligence to the radio edge.

“Tidal Wave’s vision for industrial private networks aligns with our technology roadmap,” said Dr. Doug Pulley, CTO, RANsemi. “By combining integrated small cells with our AI-for-the-RAN approach, this collaboration will enable networks to adapt in real time, delivering new levels of resilience, efficiency, and safety to some of the most demanding operational environments.”

Parth Pokar, CTO, Tidal Wave, added, “At Tidal Wave, we’re not just deploying private 5G – we’re building intelligent networks that sense, adapt, and safeguard in real time. Our long-standing relationship with RANsemi is driving advancements in edge intelligence that enable safer and more reliable operations, whether in vast open-cast mines or sprawling port terminals.”

“Tidal Wave has aligned with RANsemi’s vision for Open RAN innovation,” said Oliver Davies, VP Marketing, RANsemi. “Through this partnership, Tidal Wave will gain access to AI-powered enhancements that bring intelligence right to the radio edge, enabling future networks to autonomously adapt for greater performance, efficiency, and resilience.” Both companies will jointly showcase their innovations at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, demonstrating how integrated small cells and AI-driven RAN intelligence are shaping the future of industrial private networks.
