Are you satisfied with your needs by choosing Essemtec product?
No regrets, rather we feel this is the right entry level machine for switching over from through hole to SMD technology. It ‘s special feature of dispensing solder paste through syringe makes it very versatile tool for prototyping PCB ‘s and avoids the cost of stencil during development.
What is your throughput per day?
The output in a single day was averaged at around 2500 components/hour.
What is the bottle neck before having in house SMT facility and the advantage after installation of SMT?
Earlier we were always afraid of the day that whenever we will get the bulk order, we are not geared up for prompt deliveries. Now with the help of this machine we are at least free from the PCB assembly side & that too with zero defect. Of course outsourcing the through hole PCB assembly can help you in meeting the deadlines, in case of sudden bulk orders. But it involves hassles like component counting, missing/short supplied components and quality problems. All these are being taken care of by installing this SMT line.
What do think about the services offered by Essemtec (after sales support)?
As already mentioned we were fascinated and biased by world renowned Swiss watch technology for it ‘s trouble free performance, we are glad to mention the same is true for the SMT line from Essemtec as well. The commissioning of the machine was just like cutting the ribbon in any opening ceremony. The machine was unpacked, powered and was immediately ready for production job. Truly, till now there wasn ‘t any need for after sales service. However whatever small bottlenecks were there towards it ‘s operation, they were removed on phone itself by their service engineers.
