Tell me about yourself and your role.
I have 15 years of experience in semiconductor industry. Currently, I am working as a director for India location. I am taking care of sales activities, purchasing activities. Apart from that I involve in the hiring of the new candidates and training and then like every operations I take care of India. I am glad that I am presenting WIN SOURCE in this big platform where lot of customers are coming and looking our products and they try to establish a business relationship with us.
What is WIN SOURCE doing in India?
We started operations in India earlier this year and then officially opened an office in Bangalore in the middle of the year. Our team focuses on sales and sourcing for the Indian market and is now approaching double digits. Over the last six months we have built up very good relationships with our customers and now have several hundred customers in India across a wide range, including OEMs, EMS, and some smaller brokers who settle in rupees.
In addition to these, we are also supporting design houses, and many students in India will need some electronic components when they do R&D in their colleges. We are happy to help in this regard and support these future techies.
Currently, we are targeting all market segments and are committed to providing a full range of services to our customers, whether it is from mass production to R&D or new product introduction, we want to be a supportive partner to everyone. Our office in Bangalore is spacious and we plan to keep on increasing to attract new talent by the end of the year to cope up with the growth of the business and the economic recovery of the market.
We have a wide range of products and support all types of customers through offline and online channels. Apart from the Indian market, our team is also focusing on a number of global businesses. Recently in India, the areas of electric vehicles, artificial intelligence and IoT have been growing rapidly, so we are investing more in these areas as well, in the hope that we can provide useful services and products to more customers.

We have implemented a Quality Management System since our Quality Testing Department built . Our Quality Management Representatives continuous learning the latest quality control technology by participating in the training course of SMTA and IPC association, continuously maintained for effectiveness and process improvements in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
To assess the ongoing suitability of the Quality System, our professional team regularly reviews the Quality System by internal audit and quality reports, including results of audits, customer feedback, process performance, and product conformity, the status of preventive and corrective actions, follow-up actions from previous management reviews, etc
How do you look India for electronics component distribution business?
India holds significant potential in industries such as automotive, IoT, and AI technologies. It is one of the fastest-growing markets, and that’s why WIN SOURCE is here to seize the opportunity and contribute to this growth.
Currently, we have offices in China, the US, and Europe, but there are time zone differences that sometimes impact service availability for our Indian customers. However, with the opening of our new office in India, we will be operating in the same local time zone. This allows us to be more accessible through phone, email, and other communication channels, enabling faster response times. By being present locally, we can better understand customer needs and provide more efficient, real-time support, ensuring a seamless and improved service experience.
How will you compete with other distributors having presence in India?
There are lot of distributors, independent distributors, manufacturers. Local distributors are there. Local distributors are there. But this is a big market. There are huge customers all over the world. And as we see our strength as we have a very good online platform.
Because right now no one wants to get a call, no one wants to get emails. Because if you have requirement you just search on the Google. Or couple of people know like some genuine websites and try to find the top rated supplier on that website. They can send us the RFPs. Apart from that we are doing a lot of events. We are promoting our company on online platforms.
We believe that investing in our people through training is essential for building a strong organization. It’s important that our employees’ personal brand aligns with the company’s reputation. A great company image can be undermined if the professionalism and skills of its employees don’t match. Therefore, we focus on developing both the company’s brand and our employees, ensuring they represent our values and standards both internally and externally.
We are doing overall development company wise, employee wise. And recently we launched our own institute, WIN SOURCE institute, where every employee are getting some kind of you know course completion target.
What are the challenges?
In India, the market places great value on long-term relationships. Trust is built over time, and often only after a relationship has been established for a year or two will customers be willing to share their business needs. This is one of the biggest challenges compared to global markets, where customers tend to engage based on immediate needs, even if there has been no previous relationship.
In addition, Indian customers are very quality-focused. They ask detailed questions about product quality and often request certifications. Of course, we are committed to meeting these expectations and providing our customers with high-quality parts. Pricing is also a key issue. As an international company, we strive to offer competitive pricing while maintaining high quality standards. To strengthen these relationships, we have dedicated account managers who are always available to meet customer needs and build long-term trust.
