About DTCP-IP (Digital Transmission Content Protection over Internet Protocol)
DTCP-IP is a technical standard specified and licensed by the Digital Transmission Licensing Administrator (DTLA) that protects audiovisual content, when transmitted between digital entertainment products, against unauthorized copying, interception and tampering, while ensuring that content can be viewed and copied on home networked devices. DTCP-IP is regarded as essential to Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) content protection standards which set guidelines for the interconnection over a home network of digital audiovisual devices and PCs made by different vendors for the easy sharing of video, music, photos and other digital content.
About Elliptic’s tVault™ for DTCP-IP
Elliptic’s tVaultTM for DTCP-IP complies with the latest specifications as required by the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), including DTCP+, and it integrates seamlessly with trusted execution environments and ARM® TrustZone® frameworks to provide hardware enforced end-to-end content protection solutions for connected media devices. The Global Platform compliant solution can be deployed for both transmission (source) and receiver (sink) type applications and is designed to meet the DTLA robustness and compliance rules.
