Oct. 1 webinar to highlight advancements in hydrogen-electric transportation technology
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland – Sept. 5, 2019 – When you’re leading a revolution in the trucking industry, you don’t want to go at it alone.
Nikola Corporation has set out to reduce the environmental impact of the trucking industry with its zero-emission hydrogen-electric vehicles. To solve for the connectivity challenges this new technology brings, Nikola has partnered with TE Connectivity, a world leader in connectivity and sensors.
Representatives from the two companies will explore Nikola’s sustainable technology during the next edition of TE Tech Talks, an ongoing webinar series highlighting the successes start-up companies and entrepreneurs have achieved alongside TE engineers.
The webinar, to be streamed live Oct. 1 at 11:30 a.m. ET, and available thereafter on demand, will feature Dane Davis, Nikola’s chief technical officer, as well as Tony Heaton, head of battery systems, and Varoujan Sarkissian, head of electrical and control systems. They will be joined by TE’s Joe Bolewitz, vice president and chief technical officer for Industrial and Commercial Transportation, and Dinesh Shah, senior product engineer.
“With TE’s help, Nikola is transforming the electric powertrain to expand the possibilities of electrified transport and improve the industry’s ability to move goods sustainably,” Bolewitz said.
The company representatives will explore how they continue to work with one another to achieve Nikola’s goals.
“Nikola Motors is excited to be joining TE Connectivity’s Tech Talks webinar to discuss how TE continues to help Nikola find solutions for a zero-emission future,” Davis said.
