Cohoes, NY – September 2016 – Global manufacturer and supplier of conformal coating and precision dispensing systems, PVA (Precision Valve & Automation, Inc.) has announced the release of Spectra, the company’s redesigned Ultraviolet Light Curing System.
Spectra is introduced as an upgrade from the UV1000 and UV2000, the company’s existing UV light curing systems. The newly designed system features a Unitronics PLC controller with an easy-to-use touchscreen interface, fully enclosed workspace for clean and quiet operation, as well as large access doors to reach all critical areas. The design has many upgrades from the UV1000 and UV2000, including an increased conveyor height adjustment and larger component clearance. It also comes equipped with standard inlet and outlet shutters, as well as lamp shutters for the top and bottom lamps. “The new design is much more convenient for our customers and offers many upgrades from our existing systems at a reasonable price point,” says Frank Hart, Sales and Marketing Manager.
The system also has a few new features in the software as well. Spectra has up to 30 available profiles for programming. Each profile is able to store the speed, mode, width, etc. of a different program and can be initiated by the user using the given unique name. In addition, the system has four different processing modes. The previous systems only had the Full Processing Mode, which features a dual zone conveyor with a queue zone. Spectra also features the Safe Processing Mode (Single Zone Conveyor), the Passthrough Mode (Queue) and the Quick Cure Mode (Queue with Curing).
