Aug 5 – Centennial, Colo. – Arrow Electronics, Inc. was recognized in Gartner’s “Supply Chain Top 25: High-Tech Top 10” rankings, a prominent assessment of global high-tech supply chain leaders.
Arrow garnered an honorable mention in the rankings for its “contributions to the success of high-tech brand owners, as 100 [percent] of the companies in the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25: High Tech depend upon distributors and [electronics manufacturing service] providers to support one or more of their supply chain functions.”
“Arrow’s strategic and ongoing global investments in growing its intelligent value chain solutions are resonating with our customers and suppliers,” said Ernie Keith, senior vice president of global operations and services at Arrow. “We continue to pivot our business towards new technologies and are well positioned to support opportunities presented by the internet of things, digital sales and the cloud. This is a point of differentiation for Arrow that has become increasingly more acute.”
Every year, Gartner identifies companies across manufacturing, retail and distribution sectors that best exemplify the demand-driven ideal for today’s supply chain for its Top 25 lists. Gartner documents the best practices of these top companies to help accelerate supply chain advancements. This is Arrow’s first year being recognized by Gartner in its High-Tech Top 10 Supply Chain report.
In May, Arrow was named a finalist in Gartner’s 2016 High-Tech Manufacturing Supply Chainnovators awards at the information-technology research and advisory company’s Supply Chain Executive Conference. The Supply Chainnovators awards recognize companies for driving transformation of the high-tech manufacturing supply chain and emphasize unconventional, innovative and high-impact approaches.
