We recently partook in the anniversary celebrations of Fuji Machine Manufacturing’s strategic partnership with globally recognized American electronics manufacturing service, Jabil. The event took place on October 21, 2015 in the Jabil Blue Sky Center for Innovation in Silicon Valley, and was attended by our Company Director and Electronics Assembly Equipment Division COO, Mr. ShinsukeSuhara.
Fuji has continued to conduct business overseas ever since opening its first office in Chicago, USA in 1963. Our first electronic component mounter, an automatic electric part insertion machine, entered the market in 1979 and the sale and development of electronic component mounters within the US electronics market was established by 1981.
Our partnership began with the first electronic component mounter delivery to Jabil in 1985. For 30 years Fuji has been Jabil’s main supplier and we have supported their production siteswith the over 3,000 devices shipped to Jabil since that first machine.
