New Delhi: RS India DesignSpark PCB Contest 2015, was unveiled at India’s largest platform of Indian PCB industry, by Dr. Ajay Kumar (Add. Secretary – DEITY) Department of Electronics & Information Technology and Indian Printed Circuit Board Association’s officials Mr. Viral Bhulani (President), Mr. K V Sood (Vice President) along with Mr. Ajay Gupta (COO – RS Components India) at IPCA Electronics 2015 exhibition on 20th Aug’ 2015.
Industry leaders from the PCB manufacturing sector as well as Design Engineers from the wide horizon of Electronics sector witnessed the grand launch of the Contest. RS India DesignSpark PCB Contest 2015 announcement was then followed up with the DesignSpark Workshop at the dedicated allocated space at the exhibition ground.
The contest will run for next three months in four phases of Registration, Project Abstract Submission, Final Project Submission, and Review & Result Announcement. Best PCB designs, as selected by the panel of juries, will compete for the 1-2-3 ranks & to be awarded accordingly. Participants individually or as a team that gets awarded will also get a chance to visit the headquarters of RS Components India and work with RS India Technical Team as Interns for 3 months.
The contest is open for all that possess the basic understanding of Electronics and have done a bit of PCB designing as well. Industry professionals, Electronics designer engineers, Students from Indian universities, Hobbyists, Electronics Enthusiasts are also eligible to participate.
