Complimentary Seminar Shows Attendees How to Optimally Perform EMI Precompliance Tests on Conducted and Radiated Emissions for Commercial and MIL-STD Requirements
MOORPARK, Calif. — Sept. 1, 2015 — TestEquity, a value-added distributor of test and measurement equipment, announced today that the company is teaming with Keysight Technologies to offer a complimentary seminar series on EMI precompliance testing to address the rapid growth of the Internet of Things (IoT). The half-day seminar will be available in 11 different cities in the U.S. and Canada, providing attendees with valuable insight on how to perform EMI precompliance tests on conducted and radiated emissions for commercial and MIL-STD requirements at a variety of performance levels and price points.

The TestEquity/Keysight seminar series will examine the new wireless technologies being used for IoT and next-generation devices, taking a close look at the key differences between the technologies and the various applications they support. A hands-on lab will improve attendees’ understanding of RF field site testing and troubleshooting. By the end of the seminar, attendees will have a solid strategy for ensuring that all devices are capable of passing required EMI tests to prevent costly design changes, product release delays, and recompliance testing.
The seminar series is ideally suited for experienced R&D engineers transitioning to RF, or technicians and engineers involved in manufacturing test, design, and simulation or field service work. Attendees should have a basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
