Altus Group, a leading distributor of capital equipment for the electronics assembly industry will be strengthening their management team in the UK with the appointment of a new applications manager who will oversee technical applications within the company.
Having joined from one of the worlds leading 3D measurement and inspection equipment providers, Koh Young, Tony Wood will help in enhancing Altus support to the Korean brands SPI and AOI customers.

Having gained nearly 20 years experience working in the electronics manufacturing industry as a process and manufacturing engineer, applications engineer and now applications manager, with 15 of those years working with AOI equipment for three of the largest suppliers in the industry, Tony has developed excellent technical, organisation and communication skills and has excelled in customer focused roles in application support of specialist electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment requiring specialised software solutions.
