JISSO Protec Japan 2015 trade show will be held from June 3-5, 2015 at Tokyo Big Sight, Booth #4A-04. SIPLACE Placement Solutions
In the forefront of Japan SMT industry are the demands of the semiconductor and automotive electronics industries, where process adaptability and superb accuracy are most critical in the manufacturing process. ASM can offer our SIPLACE X4i S micron platform that is configurable with two types of placement heads for the ultimate in flexibility and precision. The versatility of the SIPLACE MultiStar placement head allows manufacturers to switch from several modes (collect-and-place or pick-and-place or mixed) easily. Besides, our dual conveyors can manage different board sizes, JTF-M (SIPLACE JEDEC Tray Feeder) accommodates tray-supplied components, and the dip module seamlessly handles dipping requirements. With all these features, this mounter offers an unmatched flexibility as well as adaptability for our SMT users. Leveraging the 20-nozzle SIPLACE SpeedStar placement head with its accuracy of 25 μm at 3 sigma, the minimum distance between components is reduced to as little as 75 μm. In addition the component spectrum ranges from the smallest of devices, the 03015, to packages as large as 6 mm x 6 mm, all which can be placed at speed of up to 120,000 components per hour. This full portfolio of advanced SIPLACE hardware and software for planning, new product introduction and production optimisation will be available & ready to share with all attendees throughout JISSO Protec Japan 3-day event.
DEK Printing Solutions
In this first showing under the new ASM brand, our DEK printing technologies will be displayed at JISSO Protec Japan specially to meet the accuracy and flexibility needs of the industry. This DEK Horizon 01iX will be configured with advanced tools such as DEK Material Management System (which includes automatic paste dispenser and paste roll height monitor), DEK ProFlow ATx, DEK HawkEye 1700 print verification, ProDEK dynamic closed-loop control and many more options to meet the stringent requirements of semiconductor and automotive electronics manufacturers. Equipped with the market’s best alignment capability of 2 Cpk at ± 12.5 μm 6-sigma and a 7-second cycle time, DEK Horizon 01iX allows users to enjoy its exceptional speed, flexibility, quality and process control that they are looking for.
