Gurgaon: Thursday, April 30th, 2015, Su-Kam Power Systems Limited, the leading solar technology player from India has its local partners and employees fully involved in providing relief to the earthquake victims in Nepal. Su-Kam is donating 800 Solar Home Lighting Systems to the Nepal government for rehabilitation work. Su-Kam has already distributed truck loads containing food, medicines, clothing, quilt and 200 large outdoor umbrellas for the victims in response to mammoth disaster in Nepal.
“We do hope and pray that our humble support helps the earthquake victims in Nepal and in the affected parts of India to get back to normalcy at the earliest,” says Mr. Kanav Sachdeva, Brand Manager, Su-Kam power Systems Limited.
Mr. Kanav Sachdeva is visiting Nepal tomorrow, Friday, 01 May 2015 to monitor the situation at the ground level and to check his factory there which fortunately escaped major damage.
The 7.8-magnitude earthquake that rocked Nepal caused untold damage to Kathmandu, the capital, and its citizens. Hundreds of thousands are sleeping outside or in makeshift shelters to avoid the ongoing threat of nearly 60 aftershocks. Supplies of fuel water, food and electricity are also running low.
